I struggle with finding a gift for my man at Christmas. When we first dated I bought him things like cologne, a beer mug, a poker table, or a hooded sweatshirt. Fast forward 15 years and those gifts seem silly for the man in my life. Derek’s interest include: farming and family. So, I usually try to find him something that he would love to use, but something he may not purchase for himself.
I don’t want to limit this post to “man gifts”, because the biggest do it your selfer I know, is my mom. These gifts are completely gender neutral, but in my life, I’m focusing on my man.
My first amazing find is this chainsaw. Nothing says Merry Christmas like watching your man open up a power tool, am I right?
This chainsaw is actually kind of cool. Why? It runs on a battery. There is no priming or “getting the chainsaw” going, because it has a battery. The reviews I’ve read say that it is actually faster than a gas chainsaw. It’s been tested and loved by users.

A spray painter. What do I know about this one? Not much. But if you know someone who needs to paint large amounts or stain large areas, this one sounds great. They say that there is no haze in the air after using this painter. The tip allows for a more consistent spray even from a distance. It looks very easy to clean, too.

I don’t want to pretend I know how to use these tools, because to be honest, I wouldn’t even know what most of these things were if they were sitting in front of me! Ha! But, I’m pretty good at research. This Bead Buster is used to take the tire off a rim if you get a flat. If I get a flat, I open up my iPhone and call me husband.
Anyway, this one is supposed to be great because it can work on an ATV up to a semi truck tire. It’s heavy duty, BUT it works for small tires, too!!

This grinder’s description sounds great. The paddle switch for on and off sounds easy to use. Knowing when to switch the brushes as well as switching the brushes sounds easy. The description on this tool sounds amazing for anyone who is into power tools. I’m more into cozy sweaters and jeans that stay in place. 😉
